How is specialty care provided?
There are times when a specialist is needed to perform certain complex dental procedures. You may refer your patient to a Participating Specialist at any time. Patients may also self refer to a Participating Specialist at any time. Referral forms are never required. Some of our PPO Plans have out of network benefits for routine as well as specialty care. However, members always receive the most value when visiting a Plan Participating Specialists and General Dentists.
