How much paperwork is involved?
Very little. We know that pre-authorizations are not only an inconvenience, but also an expense that reduces the amount of money left for the provision of care. Under DentaQuest's managed care dental plan, there are no pre-authorizations to submit, no claim forms to submit, and no specialty care referral forms to submit.

Participating General Dentists receive an updated Monthly Dentist Statement from DentaQuest each month. The Monthly Dentist Statement is an eligibility report containing all capitated members who are enrolled with their practice. Because covered services are well defined, there is minimal paperwork for the dentist and the patient.
