What are the Plans that DentaQuest offers?
I. DentaQuest
DentaQuest is a 30-year veteran of the dental benefits industry. Our DHMO Classic, Advantage and Select Member Fee Schedules are designed to permit the delivery of quality care. Our DHMO places no barriers between a doctor and his/her patients. Participating Dentists are encouraged to work together with their patients to determine treatment needs and to make specialty care referrals as needed. Participating General Dentists may refer patients to Participating Specialists at any time without Plan approval or specialty care authorizations. Members may self refer at any time to a Participating Specialist without plan authorizations or plan referral forms. With our Classic and Advantage plans, members must select a primary care general dentist at the time of enrollment. Each month the primary care dentist receives a capitation amount for the members enrolled in his/her office. Our Select plan is a discount plan and there is no dentist enrollment pre-selection or capitation required in order for a member to receive care. Members may select any Participating Dentist or Specialist when scheduling an appointment.

II. Educators Mutual Life is a Lancaster, Pennsylvania, based insurance company. Educators Mutual Life (EML) and DentaQuest partnered to develop a preferred provider organization (PPO) dental plan called the EML Select Dental Plan. Participating in DentaQuest's DHMO Plan automatically makes you a participating dentist in the EML Plan. The EML Member Fee Schedule is DentaQuest's Select (SE4) - with an indemnity component. Educators Mutual Life members carry EML identification cards and use DentaQuest's Directory of Participating General Dentists and Specialists to select a dentist. Reimbursement for services rendered to EML members will be made directly to the Participating Dentist or the member from Educators Mutual Life. DentaQuest is not responsible for this indemnity payment.
